Revenue sharing Tokens Concept
Revenue-sharing tokens are digital tokens that entitle holders to a share of a project’s revenue and capital appreciation. In a blockchain context, they function similarly to dividend-paying stocks or profit-sharing units, but enforcement is via smart contracts rather than corporate boards. Unlike traditional profit-sharing (which distributes net profits), revenue-sharing tokens allocate a portion of gross revenue to token holders. This creates a direct, transparent link between a project’s financial success and investor returns.
